A Sunset Tour of Natives – A family affair

March 25 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Visit our native animals at the holding and breeding facility in our off-limits area. Learn first hand about what monarto zoo is doing to help some of these rare and endangered animals. You might be lucky enough to feed the bilbies, meet a bettong and give some treats to our yellow footed rock wallabies. With the sun going down , keep an eye out for mainland tamars and listen to the sounds of the tasmanian devils and bushstone curlew.

Breakfast with the Chimps

Come and share an experience with our cheeky chimps , offered exclusively to our members and their guests. Join our experienced keepers for a champagne breakfast alongside our playful Chimpanzee troop. You may be lucky enough to put out some special treats as well as go behind the scenes to watch the keepers do a training session.

Over Night Under the stars at Monarto

Join us for an overnight experience with a difference. bring your tent, caravan or swag and camp out under the stars at Monarto zoo. Learn about the different constellations and their significance to different cultures. You might even see the end of a meteorite shower! After dinner , enjoy listening to some African folklore around the camp fire based on the stars in the night sky and learn about the planets that may be visible at that time of year.
