National Volunteer Week: the man behind the lens

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and if that’s the case our volunteer photographer Adrian is priceless!

Meet the man behind the lens, who has been providing your daily dose of animal cuteness over the past year.

A teacher by trade, Adrian volunteered as a youth mentor in our education team before taking on a new role as our photographer last year.

Since then, Adrian’s incredible photos have been published in newspapers around Australia and the world, helping to spread the word of our vital work saving species from extinction and raising awareness for the world’s wonderful wildlife.

To celebrate National Volunteer Week, we’re recognising the amazing contributions our inspiring volunteers make to our important work as a conservation charity.

For a man who spends so much time behind the lens, it was hard to get Adrian on the other side of the camera but we just wanted to say a big thank you to you, Adrian. We’d be lost without you!
