Have you always dreamed of working with animals? Spend an entire day behind the scenes with some of Monarto Safari Park’s dedicated staff and learn what it takes to be a keeper!

Come face to face with incredible animals throughout the day and hear about how we’re working to save them from extinction.

Every day is different at Monarto so you never can tell who you’ll be meeting, but how do some incredible carnivores, rhinos, giraffes, adorable native animals and chimpanzees sound?

Please note the minimum age for this experience is 16 years.

Monarto Safari Park is home to more than 50 species of exotic and native mammals, birds and reptiles, and one of Australia’s largest lion prides and giraffe herds.

Almost 70% of the animals that call Monarto Safari Park home are threatened with extinction. Zoos SA manages world-renowned breeding and conservation programs both in our zoos and in the wild.
